Growing up, my sisters and I had a huge alcove above our closet that our parents used to store all kinds of junk in. When we were bored, my sisters and I would make an adventure of figuring out how to 1. climb up into it without breaking any bones, and 2. discover junk that we could use or play with. We called this activity “going truckin'” (no clue why lol). Today, they call the search for home goodies junkin’ and today’s post showcases two items, while not quite junk, were found in one of my favorite vintage style stores, GypsyFaire.

Right here in our own Maryland, GypsyFaire has beautiful re-purposed items for the home on the first weekend of every month–stuff you’d rarely find in a Home Goods or Marshalls. The Hubby and I snagged a variety of crown hooks, made of solid iron, and I couldn’t wait…
