Fall in Love

So…you know how you go into a store you love for ONE thing and come out  with way more than anticipated? Well today’s run to Michaels resulted in a bushelful of $2 fall clearance foliage that, while they were a bit kitschy, I knew I could finesse into a warm Fall look for our front stoop.

With this being only our our second season in our home, I figured it was time to “fall” in love…take a look at the progress so far…

 I mean, these were $2 people….I had to! 

 
I couldn’t wait to put the vintage style tin can that I bought from a vendor called Old Salt Vintage at Lucketts Flea Market in Leesburg, VA somewhere in my home…and outside worked perfectly. I paired it with a rustic watering can from Michaels along with a variety of pumpkins and foliage. Waiting for the hubby to build me a short wooden ladder to complete the look.

 

  I may sit the pumpkins atop a few wooden crates for some added interest:
